FINALLY I have something to post for you all! I’ve had this post planned out for quite a while, but I’ve been waiting for the weather to get a little cooler to take pictures. That day has come, and none too soon!

When I was younger, I was one of those kids whose outfits matched WAY too much. I’ve only grown out of that gross habit this year, to be honest. For this outfit I really wanted to experiment with with pattern and work my way into the wonderful world of clashing. This is obviously a baby step, as I didn’t venture out of the safety of black and white, but it’s better than nothing.

I have not been able to take this hat off since my getting it earlier in the month. I’ve literally worn it three days in a row this weekend. It’s an absolute staple in my wardrobe, and works well with the hooded tunic to give the whole look an almost western feel.

This tunic was a bit of a splurge for me, considering what it is and its limited applications…but it was one of those pieces that I fell in love with on the spot and bought on impulse. I still don’t regret my decision.

“Erin, what the heck?” I know. To you guys these platforms are probably gross and weird and way too high and way too expensive and all these other ridiculous things. Well? What did you expect from me? These are authentic Jeffrey Campbell Litas, bought used for about 60% of the original price. I had to. And despite what your brain is telling you, these shoes are incredibly comfortable. They’re platforms, so the slope is not nearly severe as other shoes. They are my first pair of JC’s ever, and hopefully not the last.

Thanks for reading, and I’m sorry again about the delay! My life is super hectic right now, so I’m trying to figure out everything and make room for all my varying activities. I already have another post lined up, so this won’t happen again.

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram @ErinKaelie and Twitter @ProjectMaganda, and to like the Project Maganda Facebook Page!

The website has undergone a minor facelift, and aesthetic changes are still being made. I’m hoping to make the whole site a better reflection of my style, so keep an eye out for a new look soon!

Thanks again for all the love, support, and feedback.

Much love,

Erin
