Monday Monotony
Monday morning is probably one of the worst days for fashion conscious people. Think about it–you hardly feel like getting out of bed or your sleepwear, much less actually styling an outfit. So how do you break that Monday Monotony? You counteract it with a totally kick-butt edgy outfit that’s sure to wake up (and possibly irritate) your lethargic peers/coworkers. Per the norm, I’ll break down the outfit top to bottom.
I’m pretty sure that most if not all bloggers today own the Celine Tee/ID Gold Chain Combo. To some it may seem unoriginal, but hey! A bunch of bloggers wore these pieces for a reason, the same reason I sported them this past Monday–we like them.
I added a pop of color to the otherwise monochromatic outfit with my bright red skinny jeans from Charlotte Russe (which were dead cheap, btw).
I am so excited to finally feature my creepers in one of my posts! These are some of my all time favorite shoes, and a major tribute to my style idol Jenn Im of ClothesEncounters. They’re not everyone’s cup o’ tea, but trust me. They grow on you. They really give the mostly professional looking outfit a more industrial punch, which I love.
These are on sale at UO right now, so if you want to snag a pair, most of TUK’s creepers are going for $20 less than the price I payed. It kind of makes me cringe with regret, but I’ve worn these babies plenty enough to justify buying them at full price when I did. Totally worth it.
I hope you guys liked this post! I got up really early to do this before school, just so you know how much I love y’all 😛
Please let me know what you guys thought of my Monday outfit in the comments and leave me some ideas for what you’d like to see me post about later on. We’re getting close to the end of the month, so you can count on my very first Monthly Favorites post around the end of this week.
I also wanted to thank everyone who clicked on the links from my previous post to Sheinside’s website–it means a lot!
Thanks again, and enjoy what’s left of your week!
Much love,
Erin
